ELLEBELLE (ell- e`-belle)Who and what is Ellebelle?She was born in 2007 in Miami Florida. She is a very sophisticated, intelligent and classy woman born of immigrant parents. She is a father’s new born baby girl, she is a very caring sister, she is a passionate and romantic lover, she is a very dedicated and faithful wife, she is a nurturing mother, she also represents that country of origin that everyone born of immigrant parents remembers or wonders about. Ellebelle is an abbreviation for the French phrase, “Elle est belle” which means “She is beautiful”Ellebelle is an R&B group composed of three beautiful young women representing all the different walks of life, culture, race and ethnicity. In an industry lacking lyrical content sung by real talented singers, Ellebelle is the answer the world’s music lovers have been waiting for. With their very beautiful harmonies and very passionate vocal deliveries, Ellebelle mixes the old-school R&B’s raw story telling style with the new school’s hardcore, beat driven, hip hop style. Following in the shadows of groups such as “The Supremes” and following the foot-steps of “Destiny’s Child”, Ellebelle is setting out to do a combination of both by achieving the level of class the Supremes had and the success of Destiny’s Child.Ellebelle is composed of three distinguished members. Nineteen years old MELISSA KERNIZAN, “The Body”, was born and raised in Port-au-Prince Haiti. While there, she studied classical dances in ballet, folk and jazz. She performed at many of the classical theaters in the country and even traveled to the Bahamas to showcase her talents. She then moved to Miami where she attended Doctor Michael Krop Senior High School and studied even more intensely by joining the magnet dance program. She was also a member of the cheerleading squad at Saint-Thomas University. With her seductive looks, sensual voice and work ethic, she is a triple threat not to be ignored.Nineteen years-old LYNN NORVILUS, “The Mind”, was born August 31 in Boston. She was also raised in Haiti until the age of thirteen. At the tender age of four, she was involved in ballroom classes and performed on many stages. She attributes her strong voice to the many years she spent singing in choirs. She learned to control her vocal abilities and excelled as a performer. At the age of seventeen, she entered the Miss Teen Haiti pageant. In the likes of Toni Braxton, her natural baritone voice is the main attraction of Ellebelle. She is a force to be reckoned with.DAPHNE PAYOUTE, “The Soul” was born January 10th 1988 in Haiti. She has been performing since a very young age. At the age of 5, she began taking dance lessons. She moved to Florida where she attended Greynolds Park Elementery School for 3 years.There, she took choir courses which helped her discover her natural alto voice. She joined the drama club in which she also excelled. By the 8th grade level, she was performing everywhere that would allow her to showcase her talents and vocal abilities such as: school activities, community activities, church activities and more. With all her preparations now done, she dreams of being a Grammy winner in the near future. She has been influenced by artists such as: Whitney Houston, Patti Labelle, Aretha Franklin, Destiny Child, SWV, The Supremes. Her strong character, voluptuous looks and her strong alto tone completes the triad.In the likes of The Supremes and Destiny’s Child and with the help of songwriter/producer Ludas Charles, they are on a mission to conquer the music world, one song and performance at a time.
