I'd like to meet:

Hi! My name is Mike. I have Cerebral Palsy and I'm pretty much confined to my motorized wheelchair. I'm not here for sympathy, but I want to be frank and up-front with everyone. I don't like to play games, and I sure don't like people to feel sorry for me or play games with me. Honesty. Yes...sometimes honesty hurts, but not as much as being lied to.Ever since I can remember, and especially after watching people close to me get married, I've wanted to find a soul mate of my own. Most people around me don't understand this. Most people feel like because I'm in this mechanical device that allows me what little freedom I have, I am also retarded. I am NOT. I feel just like everyone else feels. Happiness...sorrow...love...anger. I feel it all. It aggravates me when someone looks at me like I'm just a waste of life. I'm not. I just want things that other people have. I want to find someone to share my life with. I'm 44 years old and I want the same things everyone else wants. They are just harder for me to achieve.So please don't judge me. Don't follow the normal stereotypes that look down up me and think that they are better than me. It's true...those who can walk without aid seem to take more things for granted than I do. Things seem to come easier for them. Doesn't mean that the important things in life are out of my grasp. I look forward to talking with open-minded people who don't sit around and think that Jesus died and put them in charge of judging.Have a great day!
