About Me

My name is Poppy and I'm a Californian. I'm a big bunny who loves to party. I have a brother, Bosco, but we don't get along. He's a bit shy and he likes to box. We like to tease each other through our baby gate, but deep down we really do love each other -- we just don't like to share our mommy. Our mommy is a rabbit rescuer and we love her a lot. I'm six years old and Bosco is six months younger than me. We've thumped our way through six--Whoops! make that SEVEN--hurricanes in the past few years, so we're tired of living in Florida. Wilma was the scariest hurricane yet, but mommy said that Bosco and I were very brave.

My Interests

Carrots, hopping, chewing on books, eating hay, causing a ruckus, taking naps, binkies, rucking up rugs, flopping on my side, and boxing Italian Greyhounds.

I'd like to meet:

I'm looking to meet other bunnies and people who love bunnies -- especially people who have adopted rescued rabbits. (PET STORES ARE BAD!!!)

Music:

I like classical music, and I find Enya quite soothing, but I hate opera! I also like listening to NPR news and This American Life. And Luda, of course!

Books:

I prefer to chew on big books, like the Complete Works of Shakespeare, Norton Anthologies, and dictionaries. But I've almost finished The Pop-Up Book of Phobias--the spine is really tasty.
