DOLLSHOUSES: I've even got working lights in mine!PLAYING MY DAISY ROCK "PIXIE ACOUSTIC" GUITAR: Daisy Rock make really great guitars, proportionately smaller for girls. I've wanted to learn to play an instrument for many years, but was put off by a couple of horrendeous experiences that I had at school with two music teachers. I initially bought a cheap guitar from INDEX but had difficulties with the weight and neck width of the guitar. It was too big and heavy, being designed for a man. Despite loads of sexists comments from various men that I know, I began to wonder whether anyone made guitars designed for girls, afterall, you can buy guitars 1/2 and 3/4 size for children. Then I found out about Daisy Rock. Thanks to them, I'm finally fullfilling an ambition. Thanks to Daisy Rock, us girls finally can play guitar as good as any bloke!
I'd like to meet:
Garfield the cat, he has an easy life!
Music:
Indie, shoegazing and new age music.
Television:
Dr. Who, Blakes 7, Babylon 5, Star Trek, Star Trek Voyager and Enterprise (not so keen on TNG and DS9). The Prisoner, The Avengers and New Avengers and Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea. RADIO, I love a show called "Flying The Flag." It's a bit like Yes Minister and Yes Prime Minister only on the radio. If anyone knows where I can get copies of Flying The Flag, either on cassette tape or mp3, please get in touch!
Books:
Peter David's PSI-MAN books. A shame he only wrote six novels in that series!
Heroes:
Well, in my case a heroine! The first person I ever really admired was actress Jacqueline Pearce, she played Servalan in the BBC Sci-Fi series Blakes 7. I used to think, wouldn't it be great to rule the galaxy! 25 years on I still think she's a great actress. Maybe I just want to rule galaxy and wear a posh frock!
