About Me

It's always good to start a story near the beginning. My name is Diana Greenhalgh, but some of my friends know me better as Mecha.
I am a freelance inker, but I draw pinup girls in my spare time. I plan to expand into sequential penciling in the future as well. I'm also the current Editor in Chief of Ronin Studios, and editor of the Ronin Illustrated anthology series.
Personally I'm an adventurer. I like to explore things.... I like to take the long road or the hard one. You miss so much when you take a shortcut. Of course that's landed me in a few tight places too! But all of it adds to life lessons and experiences.
'Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"'

My Interests

My first sketchbook:

I'd like to meet:

Jim Lee, Waki, Rick Ketcham, Juan Vlasco, Tim Townsend and others. Anyone that I can learn from as an artist, or that I have something in common with.

Other comic book artists and fans.... anyone I can talk to about comics, really.

If you're a band or you're just trying to see how many people you can collect, please don't send me invites, I won't accept them. I have no interest in being part of a fanclub.

Music:

Rock, punk, some classical. Sometimes even hiphop. No country music!

Movies:

Action, suspense, adventure, horror.

Television:

Heroes, CSI: Miami, CSI: New York, Smallville, CSI, Numb3rs, Bones, Las Vegas, Without A Trace, ReGenesis, Surface, K-Ville, Blood Ties, Chuck, Reaper, Torchwood.

Books:

I'll read anything as long as it's good.

Heroes:

My grandparents. They encouraged me to do what I can, and then go even further. I probably wouldn't be following my dreams if it weren't for their support when I was growing up.
