Time off. See, I have a full time job which means I work 40+ hours a week. There's no pool time for me. I have a gaggle of 7 bitches that I love to hang out with - been together for about 15 years. We don't have a club name or call sign - but we do manage to drink and cause a ruckus now and again.
I'm trying to become more open-minded about music. However - odds are that I will hate it. I hate a lot of music, but mostly the people that listen to it.Specifically, I really hate: Country/Folk, Grateful Dead, Phish, hippie/dope-smokin', Limp Bizkit, System of a Down, nü metal, 70s guitar rock, new gangsta rap, sex-em-up music, fucking pop and there IS more, I just don't care enough to write it down.
I'm largely a product of the 80s: Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Goonies, Ghostbusters, Spaceballs, Vacation, Caddyshack, The Blues Brothers, Stripes, Raising Arizona, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, The 'Burbs, Uncle Buck, I'm Gonna Git You Sucka, Mr. Mom, The Money Pit ...
...There's Something About Mary, Friday, Meet the Parents, Saving Silverman, Orgazmo, Old School, The Cable Guy, Shallow Hal, Office Space, Fargo, Monsters Inc., Me, Myself & Irene, Tommy Boy, Elf, School of Rock, Signs,The Sixth Sense, The Green Mile, Braveheart, Saving Private Ryan, American Psycho, Batman Begins, 40-Year Old Virgin...on and on...
I don't like: most drama, chick flicks, sob stories, "art" films, fantasy, most sci-fi, and pretty much anything my husband deems as "a classic, babe".
I'm a news whore. My new favorite show is How Clean Is Your House...reminds me of some folks I know (and it's not me). King of Queens IS my life on TV. I avidly oppose reality TV shows.
I used to enjoy recreational reading - however, after 13 years of college - I've come to hate reading with a passion.
It's not you.
