This 5 man wrecking crew is ripping through the south like gale force winds. The guitar duo of Brian Artis and Curtis Smith are their thunder and lighting. Influenced by the one and only "Dimebag" Darrell , James ‘Munky’ Shaffer, & Zakk Wylde just to name a few. The monsterous front man, Sean Sellers, from the grunge scene, brings new light to the metal scene in Houston. Often being compared to Chad Gray (mudvayne), mixed up with Jon Davis (korn) with a Kurt Cobain twist. No stranger to the local rap scene, Chubbs Runnels brings an original style of drums to the table. With influences anywhere from, Matt McDonough (mudvayne), Shannon Larkin (godsmack), to a shit-ton of hip-hop beatmakers. Sam Williams on the 5 string beast, brings the high energy and gargantuan stage presence to the group. Almost Sober has shared the stage with great bands such as, Within Chaos, Pitbull Daycare, Virus, Burn The Wicked, Born 2 Nothing, and Supe. The future is getting bigger and better for the 5 piece with plans to soon share the stage with the likes of Alice Cooper and Warrant. Huge local acts such as Lonestar Pornstar and Chrome 44.
