Ta Lew is unique in more ways than one. A flashy lyricist, a deep thinker, and an all around fun person.... simply a FLY GUY! Ta Lew (born Jonta Lewis) was just a regular person with talent until a chance meeting with Nikko (G.P.T. Boys) changed the course of his life. Nikko and Ta hit it off immediately with impeccable chemistry and a knack for making feel good party records. They began to work on material as the collective "HHH" with other members Souf Boi and Young Cannon. The group would be short-lived. Now with experience behind the mic and a legion of fans to support him, Ta just needed a house to let loose under. Nikko decided to bring Ta Lew to Tito Lopez and Sincere (i.e. G.P.T. Boys) who had just started their new label..... G.P.T. ENTERTAINMENT. Looking for new artists who could carry their own weight and make good music, the G.P.T. Boys decided to bet on Ta Lew as their 1st official artist and the rest is (as they say) HISTORY. Ta Lew is an artist with a keen sense of reality. Just enough street sense to keep you grounded, but enough light-hearted fun to keep you lifted. Since his arrival on G.P.T. Ent in 2006, he's appeared on countless G.P.T. Boys projects. His work includes: THE NEW BLOOD mixtape, THE GAMEPLAN, THE RECIPE, UNSIGNED HYPE, SHOTTAS, and the U CAN'T SEE US mixtape w/ the LOST SOUNDZ CREW (along with many more). Ta will also be appearing on the upcoming G.P.T. BOYS album "The Sum Of All Fears" as well as his own FLY GUY series set for release this fall. As the flagship artist for G.P.T.
