Ongoing ComedySportz Improv Classes 2008
ComedySportz is L.A.'s longest running show (now in it's 20th year) for good reason--we're fun, friendly and skillful. We bring the same approach to our improv classes. With a focus on skill-building and loads of fun. We provide a safe environment where participants are encouraged to take chances and stretch their abilities. All classes are taught by members of our ComedySportz Main Company.
One-Night Improv Cram Session
No Audition Required.
Our entire Level 1 improv class CRAMmed into one evening! An improv brushup if you've been out of any type of improv classes for over four months. It's also serves as a placement class for more experienced improvisors. Basic skills are taught including focus, concentration, teamwork, spacework trust and scenework.
Tuition: $50

Level I Improv Class - "Underclassmen"
ComedySportz Fundamentals
No Audition Required.
Learn the fun behind ComedySportz-style improv in a relaxed and supportive environment. In this 4 week course, basic skills are taught including focus, concentration, teamwork, spacework, trust and scenework.
Tuition: $275 ($250 if paid at least one week in advance)
Underclassmen Workshop Dates 2008:
All Level 1 Classes are 7 -10:30pm
Session A, Mondays, Feb 4th - 25th
Session B, Wednesdays, Mar 5th - 26th
Session C, Mondays Apr 21- May 12thLevel II Improv Class - "Juniors"
Characters and Narrative
Prerequisite: Underclassmen course, or faculty referral.
This 6 week course continues the work of the Underclassmen course, deepening skills. It also gives particular focus to characters and scenework.
Tuition: $275 ($250 if paid at least one week in advance)
Juniors Workshop Dates 2008:
All Level II classes are 7 -9:30pm
Session A, Thursdys, Mar 6th - Apr 10th
Session B, Tuesdays, Apr 8th - May 13th
Session C, Mondays June 16th - July 21st

Level III Improv Class - "Seniors"
Games and Show Structure
Prerequisite: Junior Class or faculty referral.
In this 8 week class, you will learn how to play the games that made ComedySportz famous and the longest running show in Los Angeles. Senior Class performs a graduation show at the end of the term.
Tuition: $295 ($270 if paid at least one week in advance)
Seniors Workshop Dates 2008:
All Level III classes are 4-6:30pm
Session A, Sundays, Jan 27th - Mar 16th
Session B, Sundays, Apr 13th - June 8th (One week off for Memorial Weekend)
Session C, Sundays, Sept 7th - Oct 26th

The Sunday Team: Post Graduate
Prerequisite: Graduation from Seniors class and invitation from Directors.
The Sunday Team is an on-going performance ensemble. Graduates of CSZ University are considered for membership. Auditions are every 6 months by invitation only.
The Sunday Team performs Sundays at 7pm.
