My Interests

Current Favorite Music...

Acadamey Award Winner- Falling Slowly

Usually I suggest music from artists I totally embrace. In this case, I can't say that, I don't know enough. I just know when I heard this at the oscars, I really enjoyed it. I bought it that night and keep listening to it. As my friend said, "that's Trent music". Nice.

Great Art Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel

I'd like to meet:

C.S. Lewis, Steven Spielberg, Winston Churchill, Steve Jobs, Abraham Lincoln, My Uncle Steven, Cameron Crowe, Marc Davis, AW Tozer, Michael Jackson, FDR, Martin Luther King Jr., Mark Twain

What's the deal with the give?

I guess I want to challenge people to give. I was thinking of some fancy theme for the space, and decided to put that effort into something worth our time. So to the here is a description of 4 non-profit organizations that I think you should give to. Just click on their logo to go directly to their donation page. it takes 2 minutes and they are all secure. If every friend gave $5, these organizations would have over $2,000 that they wouldn't have had. That could mean an orphan gets to go to school for a month, a child in northern Uganda eats for 2 months, a disease is closer to being cured, a teenager in downtown LA can get a glimpse of hope. It's exciting to think what we could do.

i dare you.

African Renewal
This is the organization that I worked with in Uganda. They are amazing people that are committed to changing their city, country, nation and world. They work hands on with people and make sure funds go directly to people in need. My grandparents bought a house of orphans a cow last summer...What you can do? Everything Helps.

Children's Hunger Fund
This is the organization that I volunteered at for a few months back in 2000. They give food to children in need all around the world and all throughout Los Angeles. They have a great reputation and do amazing things. A few guys wanted to help children in need and made this organization out of nothing. Literally a few middle age guys from the valley...What you can do? Everything Helps.

Breast Cancer
My aunt found out a few weeks ago that she might have cancer. She has raised tens of thousands of dollars for breast cancer. Still the disease threatened her life. Everyone knows someone who has had this disease. We've cured things before, why not this? My friend Eddie had a fund raiser for his podcast and raised almost $200 at Shakey's and got a car donated...What you can do? Everything Helps.

World Impact
Hundreds of kids in neighborhoods that are ravaged by gangs have a safe school and teachers who care about them. Most people think this is far away, but in reality, one wrong turn on your way to the Staples center and you're there. Many friends volunteer and even live here, giving up Saturdays and careers...What you can do? Everything Helps.

It's a Wonderful Life

I will leave it at that because this category could be too huge. This movie sums it all up for me. Give me a genre and I will give you a top 5.

Pan's Labyrinth

I have to be in a specific mood to “read” a movie. Well me and a good friend saw this at the Arclight, and I LOVED IT! Sometimes critics rave and I question why, not in this case. Pan’s Labyrinth is a beautiful film in content, aesthetics and heart. The young star is striking and you find yourself enjoying her drive and innocence. It was really good and has my Oscar vote.

Lost, 24, The Office, The West Wing, Friends, The Cosby Show, Arrested Development, American Idol, The Facts of Life, Different Strokes, Scrubs, Mr. Belvedere.
