About Me

Hiya, I'm Chris, and with my partners I run two construction-related websites called ContractorCity.com and BuildersBookshop.com .
Construction is one of the most ancient and honorable of professions, and we would all still be living in caves if it weren't for all the great guys and gals who figured out early on that turning that damp basement into a spankin' hot gameroom was a great idea. Just a thought. We think construction is a fun field, and we're gonna post the best and funniest construction jokes and videos we can find right here on this MySpace channel. If you subscribe to the blog, you'll get a note in your box when there's a new one up. We put our favorite video of the moment on the frontpage, and it changes without notice, so catch it while you can. If you'd like to share something funny, just post it, baby - laughter is good for the soul.

Y'all have a great day!

I'd like to meet:

Good people. And definitely everybody in the building trades - general contractors, subcontractors, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, roofers, painters, framers, masons, drywallers, handymen, landscapers, renovators, remodelers, etcetera etcetera. You know - the folks who know the aisles at the building supply store better than they do their own kitchens.

VIDEO OF THE MOMENT: "All-Bran Challenge" Pay attention now - not-so-subtle subliminal imagery is all over the place in this one. How many euphemisms and analogies for "regularity" can you spot?:
