I am please to announce that on May 20th, 2006 at 11:00am on Saturday (Well actually 11:24am), I finally married my best friend. Yes ladies I'm no longer single. lolThe weekend was perfect: the ceremony, the reception, my family, her family, our kiss, our rings, the whole day.I hate to say that coming into the day the forecast has said it would rain. Not a drop came. The night before left us with chills and insomnia. Who could sleep after the planning and excitement? With every specific detail in preparation we missed a lot. In our midst to set up the reception, the guys and I lost track of time. we got back to my hotel room at 10:42 after running wildly from Harveys. Of course with all this I had to have Ace our Ring Bearer dressed and ready to go by 11:00!The groomsmen were behind me in running back to the Chapel by 11:15 only to find out we forgot to take the wedding bouquet with us!(oh no) Not to fear Jorge our hero is here. Not only did he run back with his nicely pressed clothes, he got back in time for Wenylen to walk down the aisle with her father. Whew!Thank you Jorge & Claudia for your much needed help. We couldn't have done it without you.Anyway....as we finally got the ceremony ready, keep in mind we didn't have a rehearsal, everything went crazy. I forgot to take off a tag on my coat, the bridesmaid and groomsmen weren't properly assigned, the flowergirls had a race, our ring bearer went ahead of the bible bearer, but despite all that, our wedding was a success. With every mishap, only my bride was the one that's perfect. The moment she walked down the aisle, I felt all the emotion rushing down as I say to myself what a lucky guy I am. Seeing her in her wedding dress for the first time, the look on her face as she walked down, and the smile she gave me as I shook her father's hand and placed her arms on mine. I am blessed in marrying such a wonderful person. What better way to celebrate the occasion with family & with friends. This trully is a day I will never forget. With all said and done, we made our vows, exchange of our rings, & finally ending with our first kiss as husband & wife.
