Michael's career in music started in childhood.It began with his stepfather, a member of a local rock band, who would bring him along to studio sessions. Michael loved it and started playing every instrument he could get his hands on.At 14, Michael found electronic music. He picked up his first set of tables and began playing house parties soon after. He quickly found his style gained enough local popularity to be noticed by a small production company.This led to many after hours shows and raves.
Soon after, Michael landed his first residency at Club Matrixx, the second largest club in Colorado.This opportunity afforded him many chances for growth. He began headlining multiple venues in Denver, Boise, Seattle, and Vancouver, and also opening for major artists such as George Accosta and Carl Cox.During this time Michael began work on the promotion side of things as well. He managed a team of Colorado's best Dj's, played live sets on radio shows, learned the ins and outs of advertising, and putting on his own shows featuring local talent and bigger artists like Dj DRC.All this lasted until 2005, when Michael decided to focus his energy on writing music.He spent the next two years perfecting his signature sound, a unique blend of dark, tech, and hard trance.At this time he decided to share his music with the world.Myspace, www.myspace.com/djmichaeld.
