A: “Did you hear about that series of illogical events that occurred involving a duck? They turned out to be congruent in some unexpected way!†B: “Har har! Please excuse me while I breathe spasmodically and become moist!â€

Bands I have seen live include the Beastie Boys, The String Cheese Incident, Moe, Ratdog, Umphrey's Mcgee, 36 Mafia (they pretty much suck), Stone Temple Pilots, Yonder Mountain String Band, Steve Kimock, MOV, Gov't Mule, Robert Randolph, The Red Hot CHili Peppers, Ozzie Ozborne, Foo Fighters, Sonic YOuth, Bob Dylan, Ani Difranco, Bela Fleck, Keller Williams, and many many more. I also love, but have not seen Outkast, Pearl Jam, Radiohead, The Jayhawks, Ray Lamontagne, Assembly of Dust, Willie Nelson (wait, i've actually seen Willie), Norah Jones (in love with), Buckethead, poop, and of course Paul Simon. Sufjohn Stevens and Devandra Banhart are both incredibly awesome. I love The Shins and about 80-85% of the bleeding heart, emo crap like the Postal Service, Modest Mouse, Pinback, and various others.
Caddy Shack. anything done by Christopher Guest or Wes Anderson, or the Cohen Brothers. Those guys can do no wrong as far as i am concerned. Donnie Darko. Shit, too many to name. I love Bill Murray and Star Wars. I also love most movies that are based on comic books.
Arrested Development is the most overlooked and badass show ever. Lost is cool. Of course Seinfeld and the Simpson's (the 400th episode was amazing). Anything on Adult Swim, especially Family Guy. College Basketball, pro basketball, pro and college football. Believe it or not I enjoy watching the occasional round of golf on the telly.
My favorite books are all textbooks, because those are the only books I have been reading for a while. The best one was actually written by one of my professors Shin Shan Henry Tsai, it is called Perpetual Happiness. Other essential reading is Marketing Management, Marketing Research, and Consumer Behavior (which is more of a psychology book).
THis is going to sound very cliche but my single greatest hero is my father. He can do anything, fix everything, and oh yeah is is omniscient and omnipresent. Also Michal Jordan and Nolan Richardson rank up there pretty high.
