Lee Moore

I’ve been playing pipes since I was about 8 years old. I play in the Scottish folk band Pipedown. We’ve just brought out our second album, called Roag, on The Phat Controller Label.I’ve played in pipe bands up until a couple of years ago when my daughter Ishbel came along, so something had to give.I’ve also played with Hamish Moore’s piping group Na Tri Seudan.Currently teaching pipes in Schools in East Lothian, George Heriot’s School in Edinburgh and for a youth project in Lauder. Also teach an evening class for adults in smallpipes for The Scots Music Group.
