Ysidra - Author of The Hunt Is Over!

This is my finest hour! I'm so excited about EVERYTHING God is doing in my life right now. He continues to bless me with so many gifts and talents, none of which I take for granted. I sooooo love Him...simply for who He is! I am loving life! And guess what else? I'M NOT PERFECT!!! (There...I said it!) My goal in life is to encourage, motivate and uplift others simply by sharing my testimony. Believe me when I say, God does heal and deliver! I can't begin to tell you how blessed I am because of His goodness. I'm a single mother with two careers and a very active church life so, needless to say, I really don't have time for a lot of nonsense. My tolerance level is extremely low for people with ulterior motives. I'm open and honest in my friendships and relationships and I expect the same in return. If that's asking too much, well...I don't know what to tell ya, other than you're probably not meant to be in my life for any significant length of time.I love to write. My first book was released April 1, 2007 and is entitled THE HUNT IS OVER!: MEMOIRS OF AN EX-PREACHER'S WIFE. The book has been a blessing to so many people and I'm thankful for that. THE HUNT provides readers with a glimpse into the 4 1/2 years of my marriage. The response to it has been surprisingly overwhelming - a blessing, to say the least. I'm currently working on my second book entitled DRAMA QUEENS FINISH LAST, which will hopefully, motivate you to live a life of faith and purpose instead of one that is bombarded with drama. For way too long, we - especially females - have glorified drama when, in actuality, it should be cursed and put to rest. I will keep you posted on the book's release so please keep your eyes and ears open.What else about me? Hmmm. Oh! I'm a preacher's kid - a "PK"...and I wouldn't have it any other way! Who said preachers' kids were the worst? It's always been my philosophy that that statement originated from some angry, disgruntled deacon's kid. By the way, did I mention the fact that I'M NOT PERFECT??? And just so you know, I take offense to the fact that a lot of people tend to put PK's on a pedestal and then have the audacity to criticize and judge us when we fall. Is it not true that we ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God??? C'mon folks...GET A GRIP! We're all in this thing together so let's start acting like it. K?
