Haha, this Zo aka Tha Nemesis. I know ya’ll tired of the same ole bullshit these rappers are talkin bout. I’ma bout to take ya’ll to another level of hip-hop unseen from reality. I’m bringin’ down south rap to new heights. Born and raised in Hearne, TX, I learned that struggle can build the measure of a man in order to survive and make it out on top. I started out writing poems in my youth until I heard 2Pac’s album Me Against the World, which fueled me to write raps. Listening to Fat Pat and Lil KeKe on screw tapes influenced me to start freestyling. In 1999, I began to freestyle in rap battles. In 2002, I joined V-Squad which consisted of J. Punch, Yung Nahlej, Sonnier, Sonny Bobo, and Spade. We began recording our first mixtape during that year. We released The Long Awaited in 2004 and Soundtrackx 4 tha Streetz in 2005. After the release of the Soundtrackz, I began to venture out on my own and record with various artists such as M.A.D.E. (of Bryan, TX) and Gary J. (of Houston, TX). As of now I am workin on a solo project completely written and produced by me. Nemesis, the new album, features limited guest appearances, murderous beats, and expressive, insightful lyrics which create a voice of the street.
