Whatever, Miss Priss. You're the omelette.

About Me

As of this summer I have really buckled down and focused on my passions. I started writing a memoir, Wonder Bean, and I have been working on my photography like mad. A lot of it is centered around the people on my life and some of it is abstract. Either way, I put my own little spin on it. You can check out the photography in the slide show on my page. My other passions are music and filmmaking. I don't play music or make films but these are art forms that form the scenery of my life, the window music (as they say in the train industry, and therefore take a very high place in my life. Certain notes or scenes can have the possiblility of defining me or moments in my life until the end of time I am a superhero. My name is the same as it is on an everyday basis because, frankly, that's just who I am. My powers are the following: picking out the perfect gift; tearing paper in a straight line; hugging; being heartachingly romantic; snapping with only my left hand; finding amazing purses in second hand shops; making spaghetti pie; making you laugh. PS. IF YOU SEND ME A FRIEND REQUEST, PLEASE ALSO SEND ME A COURTEOUS MESSAGE HELLO TELLING ME WHO YOU ARE AND WHY YOU ARE REQUESTING. I'M SUSPICOUS OF STRANGERS BY NATURE. NO OFFENSE. My Interests

Writing, Photography and Music. I live and breathe these things. I also love people, (Yes you. Thanks for stopping by.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who will let me take their picture. The people who I miss and are away from me. Someone who can make a meringue. Anyone who is up for a (sub)mission. Someone who enjoys the crusty cheese on the side of the lasagna pan and/or has that same craving to eat all the toppings off the pizza after everyone has had a piece. An Indian Leg Wrestling partner. People who are interesting.

Music:

It rules my life. Hard.

Movies:

Oh movies, how do I love thee, let me count the ways? Well, at $7.50 a pop it has to be a once a week relationship at best but that's what the used DVD rack is for right? Sort of the mistress whore of the movie lover's life. A little rough around the edges and used by others, but all in all still the good thing it always was. Currently the titles I heart: The Life Aquatic, Napoleon Dynamite, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, A Clockwork Orange, Straw Dogs, Bottle Rocket, Hero, The Triplets of Belleville, Coffee and Cigarettes, Butterflies are Free, Requiem for a Dream, The 40 Year Old Virgin, Old School (Earmuffs!), The Snowman, You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown... Donnie Darko, Walk the Line, Delicatessen, Eyes Wide Shut, Anything by John Hughes, The Shining, House of 1000 Corpses, Arsenic and Old Lace, Raising Arizona, I Heart Huckabees, The Graduate, Misery, Saved, The Electric Grandmother, The Point, Yellow Submarine, Help, Hard Day's Night, Magical Mystery Tour, Wallace and Grommit, Kill Bill Volumes I and II, Crash, Brokeback Mountain, Pretty in Pink, Mystery Science Theatre: Pod People, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, House of 1000 Corpses, Benny and Joon, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Head, Arsenic and Old Lace, You've Got Mail, When Harry Met Sally, Half Baked, The Color Purple, The English Patient, Pride and Predjudice (with Colin Firth), Shopgirl Walk the Line Spellbound (both the Hitchcock and the spelling bee one) Dirty Dancing A Mighty Wind Waiting for Guffman Superman (the old ones with Christopher Reeve) Pi Go Eulogy Very Bad Things Any MST 3000 movie AND MORE!

Television:

I love buying shows on DVD. I'm a consumer whore!

Books:

Yes please. Current favorite authors: David Sedaris, Augusten Burroughs, Chuck Paluhniuk, Mo Willems, Paulo Coelho, Yann Martel, Ayn Rand, Robert Heinlen, William Frey (who the fuck cares and fuck Oprah too), Irving Stone, Joyce Carol Oates, Jack Kerouac, Charles Bukowski, A.A. Milne, Shel Silverstein and anything else that happens to change my life from moment to moment. I'm also currently in the middle of writing a novel that I hope will become your favorite literary piece

Heroes:

This would be my mother and John Lennon. My Mom has the amazing ability to pull herself up by the bootstraps and do what needs to be done. The things she has taught me have been immeasurable. I love you Mom

Life at the Post Office
