My Interests

Renew the Stewardship Fund!

The Warren Knowles-Gaylord Nelson Stewardship Fund is an innovative public program that provides outdoor recreation opportunities and helps protect critical natural areas, wildlife habitat, and water quality in Wisconsin. Since 1989, Stewardship funds have helped protect nearly 475,000 acres across the state. The Stewardship Fund is currently funded at $60 million annually, and will expire in 2010 if not reauthorized by the Legislature.

Governor Doyle has not only pledged to protect the Stewardship Fund but has proposed to invest even more critical funds into the program. As concerned citizens we must do our part by contacting our legislators and tell them to support not only the renewal of the fund but also support the extra investment in our state's natural and recreational areas. Please take a few minutes to send an email to your elected officials in Madison! Simply follow the link below to send a prewritten letter or use the talking points to write your own!

Mark Belling and His Indecent Language

Milwaukee right wing talker Mark Belling is apparently so offended at public breast feeding that he seems to have taken to indecent talk on our public airwaves. Click the link below to hear the outrageous audio.
