WeKi is a well know project of two male djs Wega and Kim Pixa.
Wega started to dj in 2001. In 2002 he won Philips BE DJ competition which was the first impulse to perform publicly. Famous Czech international dj Michael Burian made him a resident dj of Visage night in the best Prague club Roxy.
In 2005 and 2006 is Wega chosen as a lector dj and he flied to Turkey to teach dj techniques.
Kim Pixa {his real name} started to dj in 95 when he was about 15 years old.
He used to play on disco parties as a CDj. When he was 18 he bought turntables and started perform on regulary parties. He produced his first underground album electro album Keep it Cool in 1998. Four years later another album called Keep it Hot was finished, however he kept this one only his parties and friends either and so another hip-hop project Schizofrenie. He also participade on creating of audio parts of web pages, radio spots, tv documents, remixes and many more.
Wega and Kim Pixa got together in 2005. Now they are one of the most respected Czech djs. Their tracks are avialable around the world on beatport.com, juno.co.uk, Apple iTunes, djshop.de and many more.
They are regulary featuring on a huge electronic festivals such as Summer of Love (the largest festival in the Czech republic, they made it's oficial anthem in behalf of year 2007), Cosmic Trip, Love Planet, Sazava Fest, Cary and played in clubs around Czech Republic {many resident nights - Elektra, La Pascos Dream ...}, Sought America, Germany and Turkey.
WeKi Djs played beside djs/projects such as dj Hell, Chris Liebing, Ellen Allien and Apparat, Christian Smith, Chris Cowie, Audiobullys, Afrika Islam, Nathan Coles, Richard Bartz, Czech, Oliver Koletzki, Electric Indigo, Asad Rizvi, Nathan Fake, Jimmy van M, Sean Cusick, Rif Raf, Jonty Scrufff, Michael Burian, Schwa, Deepchild and many more.
