I love animals and feel that they should be protected from abuse, misuse, and crowding by human populations. They belong here as well.This website talks about The Church of Thomas. This is a Christian Denominational that is 2000 years old. The Apostle Thomas is the founder of the group. We study Bible Gospels as well as the Gospel of Thomas. We do not believe in a paid Clergy, or buildings that need upkeep, personel, etc. We do not tithe nor do we ask for money. God provides what is necessary to our works. We may never say, "Look what a wonderful thing you did in God's name", but we will give you encouragement when you hurt.We are not well known because we were not thought of as 'appropriate' by what has become thought of as Christianity. In Biblical times there were two main groups among the Apostles who studied with Jesus. Their group was in the right place at the right time for the Emperor (Secular Authority) to deceide who would 'win' the discussion. Christianity has been impoverished ever since.I'm calling the Next Generation Angels, Come fly with me.My Mother laughs and says that I am the first Evangelist for the Church of Thomas she has ever heard of. Most of us have quietly worshiped at home, gone to a local Church to sing and fellowship. I feel that it is time.
