i'm a mom, a photographer and digital artiste & i'm happily married to the world's BEST guy. we also have the world's CUTEST and best dog, Canela, a keeshound/shepard mix.
i'm also a jerseygirl, exit 7-7A LOL. i miss the east coast, but for now it looks like los angeles is home. but my roots are still grounded back in new jersey :) joke all you want, but remember, there are worst places to live and die!

i'm also into learning more about different religions and faiths. this is an ongoing education for me. i am fascinated by the history, the traditions, etc. i respect all people whatever their religous faiths, all i ask is that you respect mine. no organized religion is perfect, remember that, and just because i am catholic, does not automatically make me a stereo-type either :) respect me for who i am and you'll get the same respect back :)
i love to raise money for the national multiple sclerosis society. this is a terrible disease, no cure. i did the MS walk here in l.a., 3 miles, felt great, my team raised over $2,000, not bad for the first time ;) and oh yeah...i have MS :D
the ironic thing is that in the fourth grade i raised money by reading over 100 books for MS and i got a certificate and a little trophy. how knew, huh?
here it is:
basically i give my MS the BIG FINGER. i refuse to let it get me down and out. although there are days when the fatigue is so bad i can't get out of bed. this is why i have such a great husband, he is my rock. he cleans, cooks, laundry, etc. helps me get out of bed and encourages me to do my own thing, the stuff that i love to do. he got me a wheelchair to help me out at events where walking and stopping wears me out and creates a lot of pain. but straight walking without stopping i'm fine..go figure? MS is different is everyone. i mean i can still dance in a club, kwim?
us at comic con in san diego in 2005, and yes, that's MY man wearing a kilt! ;) we're waiting to get into the costume ball, wheelchairs get you VIP seats :D now i need to get david to find the time to paint a flame job on my wheels ;)
so even though i have an incurable disease and sometimes have hard days and need a set of wheels to help me out, don't think for a second that this will stop me from continuing my photography, skiing, etc. and never say..but you look so good! just because i'm not tied to a chair, does this mean i do not suffer, i have a lot of "invisible symptoms that i do not complain about. i mean everytime i hear someone complain how tired they are over literally nothin, i just keep to myself, how hard it is for me to keep going on my bad days and i try not to complain at all. just because i look ok, doesn't mean that i am.
ok, i'll quit my bitchin LOL just remember, have fun, be yourself, and remember, you never know who is in the company you keep!..
