Beauty is truth, truth beauty

About Me

You'd be surprised.
All right. I'll take pity on you and give you a few tidbits about myself,
just to whet your appetite for more...
I am an aesthete with the heart of a rocker chick
Or the other way around... have wardrobe for both.
I swear like a drunken sailor
And can probably drink you under the table.
I was once an artist's model.
Paintings of me exist somewhere in the world.
I'm a sucker for a foreign accent.
Even a fake British accent might do.
I cry easily during sad scenes in movies.
Or even during breathtakingly beautiful ones.
I sing along, loudly, with all my favorite songs.
And sound great with the volume turned waaaay up.
I have had a crush on Casey Siemaszko since I was six.
Shhh, don't tell him. I'm playing it cool.
I am completely turned off by bad spelling.
And loathe hip-hop-speak.
I've been called a muse.
And, on occasion, amusing.
I like dumb jokes.
But not scatological humor.

My Interests

Art
Renaissance masters or the Pre-Raphaelites

Music
live: indoors, outdoors, small clubs, stadiums, doesn't matter

made my stage debut at three; now, I'm just in the audience

Reading great books
even the not-so-great

Writing
read my blog to get the idea

History
European, from Ancient Greece to the end of the Renaissance

never dress up; O.K., I admit I think about it every year

Language
I speak Spanish, French, Italian, Polish, and am studying Greek

Travel
rather be in New York or England right now

Divination
channeling the gypsy fortune teller within

Redecorating my house
decorating magazine junkie

Cooking
dinner parties, yay!

Fine wine
now more into port

Rich chocolate
if you can score me some Sissi Taler, I will follow you anywhere

Knitting
finally, I'm crafty

I'd like to meet:

Truly witty, creative, funny, fascinating people.

To my dream dinner party, I would invite:
Stephen Fry, Joss Whedon, Jennifer Saunders, Hugh Grant, Kenneth Branagh, Sanjeev Bhaskar, Eddie Izzard, Kevin Smith, Criss Angel, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, Nia Vardalos, Dave Navarro, Salvador Dali (damn, he's dead)..... you, maybe?

You think you measure up? Think highly of yourself, don't you?

But unless I know you, if your friends list numbers in the thousands, don't even bother. I find you obnoxious already.
