About Me

I'm 23 years old and live in Gilroy, California. I am a full time student at San Jose State University currently studying Music Education. My main goal is to become a music teacher after I graduate and I believe I am well on my way to reaching my goal. The university lifestyle can be a bit crazy sometimes (then again that goes for everything else in life), but I'm loving everything about it.
Music pretty much runs my life 24/7. I'm mostley into metal, but have a strong appreciation for many more genres of music such as fusion, jazz, afro-cuban, hip-hop, acoustic, etc. I am currently playing bass for three bands: RubyRed, Benvenue, and the Starving Millionaires.
The main instruments I play are bass (both upright and electric), guitar, and piano. I started off on violin at 7, then switched to guitar after seeing Jimi Hendrix on VHS, then switched to bass after hearing Rush's Signals album. My musical journey has been to a lot of places and will even go to newer heights, so I'm very happy with that.
When I'm not playing music or going to school, I work at my brother's video game store to make my money. It's a great job plus knowing that I'm helping out my bro makes it even better.
