About Me

College is more than 2 years behind me, so I guess I am *technically* a grown-up. But I still like the color pink, Care Bears, candy, and. . . wow, everything I said so far starts with "c". But my point is, I am short and can still shop at Gap Kids if I wanted to (size 10-12). But I don't because that would be weird, right?

My Interests

Writing, reading fiction, reading about ghosts, learning, watching tv all damn day (while I am writing), dancing, drinking a nice cold beer. I really like all things related to history. And the color pink. To the point of being obnoxious. Sorry, can't help it.

I'd like to meet:

DO NOT REQUEST AN ADD! I WILL deny you. I only add people I actually know. If I get a request from you it means you haven't even taken the time to read my profile.I have timidly begun drinking with friends at Little Woodrow's Midtown, now that Midtown is the new Center of the Universe (Rice used to be). I am starting to go out more, and I like it. I need new clothes for this though. I mostly have jeans and t-shirts that say "Lifetime Member of the Time Out Club" on them.

Music:

Jeff Buckley, The Jayhawks, The Get Up Kids, Dave Matthews Band, Son Volt, Chicago, Sinatra, AC/DC, The Postal Service, blah blah blah.

Movies:

Empire Records, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Dazed and Confused, Field of Dreams, A League of Their Own, Cruel Intentions, The Object of My Affection.

Television:

Law & Order, The OC, CSI, 24, Sex and the City, Newsradio.

Books:

A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, The Hitchhiker's Guide books, Weetzie Bat, and The Hanged Man. Those are the books I re-read about once a year.

Heroes:

My mom, my dad, my brother, my grandma . . ok, my whole family. I get all of my inspiration from them.

My Blog

Blogstravaganza

Unlike MaryT, I do not maintain a billion skillion blogs.  I only have two.  My REAL blogs are: http://www.xanga.com/WeeMeglet (daily) and http://www.stuffiscool.com(co-blog)...
