"SOLESCENCE" - (Pronounced Sole-essence) is an abstract name i derived from various factors applicaple to my personal musical journey.'Sol' - meaning Solo, or singular / alone. I write my own music. From composition to recording, also play, produce, master and all the other harmonious factors that co-exist with it. Also a representation of 'soul' - the core of where my music comes from.
'escence' - simply meaning, 'the essence of'
Hence fourth: Solescence - The essence of a sole musician / & the essence of my soul.
Now that doesnt mean it is absolute saying i work alone. Mostly it has though, but on occasion I have, and will continue, to do certain projects here and there collaborating with other artists.
I sometimes find inspiration in the smallest things in life, that enable me to produce an entire full length emotion based track from them. My music always comes from the heart, it comes from what i live and feel every day: whether that be having my being torn apart, or avid desire, to the depths of love itself.
I never write for the sake of just mechanically doing another song. It comes from the emotion drawn from within myself, from defining moments of truth, life, love.. or beauty - beauty i see, hear or feel that may come from a vast array of senses and experiences. I put my all into the music i write, it is an expression of my inner being.. my soul. If others get something out of it for themselves, I am glad. I hope you do too.
