Dow Brain and Brad Young are the owner/operators of Underground Productions Inc. which has been in business in Boston MA since 1992. They have a total of 5 Platinum and Gold albums and singles under their belt and are the writers/producers of the number 1 selling single "Summer Girls" by LFO on Arista Records. They have had over 100 song placements in film and television shows. Recently Dow Brain and Brad Young produced and co-wrote the song for the nationally airing Match.com commercial. Most Recently, underground just finished recording, and mixing Universal Records Recording Artist Staxx as well as producing a majority of the music on the album which is set for release nationwide this summer
Dow Brain has toured playing keyboards with Universal Recording Artist Brian McKnight, and most recently, played guitar and keyboards with Island Record's Tracy Bonham on the Lilith Fair tour.
Brad Young has mixed records for numerous artists including Queen Latifa

Underground studios features 2 independent but compatible recording rooms, both with Mac G4s, 24 bit Protools, Emagic Logic, tube mics and tube pre-amps.
A Room – Mackie DB8 with automation, extensive outboard gear and microphone selection. This is our primary mixing and mastering room, it is also used for vocal recording/editing, instrumental recording/editing and it is our live drum recording room. The live room also has 2 isolation booths.
B Room – Mackie 32X8, extensive keyboard, MIDI modules, and sampling gear. This is our writing/composition room. It is also used as a vocal recording/editing and instrumental recording/editing room.

All tracks above may be recorded as a demo or limited use master for the listed fee (track usage fee only, does not include any studio time).
Any CD release must include the following writer/producer credits for using the music provided by us:
Writer’s credit: Artist (or lyric writer(s)/D. Brain, B. Young, ASCAP/Big Underground Music ASCAP
Producer’s credit: Produced by Dow Brain and Brad Young for Underground Productions
Any Major label release or Independent release selling over 10,000 copies must be negotiated by artist and attorney for advance and producer points.
