Whats up myspace!!! I am an A&R for Peachtree Music Group. I stay Young, Fly, Flashy and Blessed. First off I gotta thank God for putting me where I am today. Shouts Out to Peachtree Music Group, 38 Music, ,J'Rome, Marquan, "Top Cat", J.Miller, U.N.I. Family, So So Def, Vagabond Records,Tony, My fam N Friends. If I forgot to mention you my bad, its just to many of yall but thanks for holdin me down. But for those of you who don't know what an A&R is or does, my department is a division of Peachtree Music Group that is responsible for scouting and artist development. The A&R department is the link between the recording artist/act and the record label, generally to help with the artistic and commercial development of the label's artists. I am often required to handle contractual negotiations, find songwriters and record producers for the act, and schedule recording sessions.Part of my duties include keeping contact with their counterparts in music publishing companies to get new songs and material from established songwriters. Contrary to common belief it is not one of the A&R department's main jobs to sort through the plethora of demo tapes sent by hopeful musicians to the label!!! But if its hot send it to me... But other than that I'm a hard working man that stays on the grind, trying to make a living and make stars in the music industry.
