The Bones of the Poor line the pockets of the Rich

About Me

First The Basics: =========================================================== PyAD is a group comprised of Jason Polding, Darryll Mcgillivary, Emily Dadak, Mike Prince and Steve King . Jay and Darryll are like brothers they have know each other since they were kids living in Amesbury MA both have been against Corporate force feeding of music for years, Mike is from Reading, Steve lives in Gloucester and finally Emily Imported From Berkeley Calif. where she grew a tolerance and love for the mentally insane, and a bit of it rubbed off too.. Some of the themes behind our music is oppression, history, politics, Sci-fi, And Paranormal weirdness. =========================================================== Pyad.. BAND BIO.. Jayson, Darryll, & Eric started the group Jay on Bass and vocals, E on drums, and D on guitar. that started around october 04. Jay decided to drop Bass and Just spread his insanity vocally. So the search for a bassist began. Luckily Emily put her hand up for the bass slot. now armed with a full group and sound the band began their jamming to try to acheive a sound that was in their heads but not in their cd players. They wrote their first 5 songs and had home partys at their Barn/practice space to see what their friends would think. they then started playing to the public thanks to My Pet Demon who threw them on their first Metal show in salem MA. Pyad would also accomplish something great that year a paid gig at a blues club with three of their closest bands. The line up tried to add to their sound in late 05 by switching eric to lead guitar. they tried out many drummers for months until Darryll was fed up with the search for a drummer and decided to pick up some sticks. :2006 They feverishly rewrote the songs and put together their first 7 song ultra low production cd "Your Impurity" which was released to the public in may of 2006 (on Itunes MAY 07). In august Eric tried to quit the band but the calling of metal in his heart was too strong and he came back with a vengence writing new and heavier materiel. they carried on and played much more. Without the help of a booking agent they managed to play numerous shows throughout the year in the nortern Mass. southern NH area even landing shows at marks showplace Metal Festivals. :2007 still being written hopefully you can be part of it. In late 2007 Mike joined the band and in early 2008 Eric Elias left, and in March of 08 Steve has joined the band, currently the five of us are bringing our metal and insanity to your town! .. METAL FOREVER
