I have 3 wonderful step children or maybe I should say young adults they are 18,17 & 15. Joel, Hayden & Shaun. I am a stay at home Mum but never seem to be home much always something to do or people to see. I love to socialize and I am a real peoples person. I am a qualified Beauty Therapist but don't currently work in the industry however still love all the beauty trends etc and the glitz and glamour. I am what is know as a cosmetic junkie lol. I have recently embarked on doing some consultancy work in the field of Mental Illness and helping those who care for loved ones with a mental illness have had a lived experience myself with my bi-polar and major depressive disorder. I am currently on a cursade to lose weight as I am quite overweight and healthy at the moment but it may not stay that way if I don't lose weight so I have made the year 2007 the year of health and wellness and also a year for ME!!! So far been doing well however it is bloody hard work and very difficult to stay motivated at times especially the exercise side of things the food side I do well with. ******Yes achieved weight loss of 72kgs in 2007!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ******* Unfornuately I have/and had major depression for some years and that also plays havoc with me on a daily basis so needless to say its one day at a time most of the time. However I am here and fighting on, to those of you who are reading this and suffer with depression or know someone who does will understand where I am coming from. I have now recently been diagnosed with bi-polar or manic depression, so new challenges await me as they try to stabilize my moods with the cocktail of medication they prescribe. Oh I nearly forgot to mention my other family member who is my baby dog and my only other female in the house with all these boys is my Maltese X Shih Tzu Chanel who I refer too as Mummy's baby dog and the pampered pooch. So thats a little about me hope I haven't rattled on for too long, love to get to know some more friends so send an add to me and we can get to know eachother better.
