My name's Ben Gauthier and this is my music page.
My instrument of choice is guitar though I dabble in piano and have been known to embarass myself on the drums from time to time. I'm currently working on my first instrumental album entitled "The Tragic Experiment", from which, you can hear some of the tracks on my player. The album is set for release this summer.
Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember as I've been playing guitar for the better part of ten years. Though I'm mainly a prog-metal guy, I can find something I like in most any genre (except for hip-hop; say what you will but to me it just sounds like karaoke).
Apart from music I love to read. I tend to gravitate towards fiction because, to me, reading is an escape from reality as opposed to something confined to it. Any book/author suggestions are welcomed as I'm always looking for something new to pick up.
