For
22 years now, DREAMSCAPE has been fighting through the
progressive metallic musical landscape.
The idea of
DREAMSCAPE is to create music, which apparently isn't meant for
everyone, but despite this the music remains the driving force for
DREAMSCAPE.
A sound, that serves the songs, is played brilliantly
and in an ever-convincing manner.
Why then has DREAMSCAPE
remained relatively unknown, unable to reach more hearts of the
progressive scene?
Was it because the band members didn't
totally engage themselves in the music, but instead sought success in
their jobs?
Was it because the band didn't take the time to
tour?
Or was it because it always took four years to release a new
album?
Or is it even because the band's name, appears to be
a curse, due to the huge competitor from the US?
That may be,
but Wolfgang Kerinnis, the band founder and leader ended that
phase!

European tours (2007 Sieges Even, 2008 Symphony X)
DREAMSCAPE was put into new action. All compromises and self-doubt
were thrown over board and fellow musicians were found who are
equally interested in seeking success in music. The faithful fans are
already awaiting the new album, and the other prog enthusiasts will
be excited by the new songs.Surprisingly versatile and sonorous as
never before, the new album emerged from a collaboration with Spike
Streefkerk (Melissa Etheridge, Phil Collins, Def Leppard…) and
will initiate a landslide! Or so the band believes...
