Hang on, we're almost there...

About Me

The main thing you should know about me is that I was born with only one normal hand. My other hand is a tiny club of doom called The Nub. I really like it and believe it's my best feature, hence the name Nubbenstein, although you can just call me the Nub if you like. One thing I really enjoy is school. I've been going to college on and off since 1994 and have a few degrees to show for it. I am currently finishing my post-baccalaurate teacher certification. This is when you already have a degree and want to be able to teach in a public school setting. Once I finish my work (that should be in winter of 07) I will then be certified as a science teacher (I will actually be able to teach biology, chemistry, math, physics, and earth science) for grades 7 - 12. Small children scare me and think I'm weird, so we're sticking to the upper grades. Right now, in addition to school I work at the local giant chain bookstore. I really like my job and have been doing it for quite some time. I get to be around books, music, and film all day which is an excellent thing. Retail isn't my dream, but it works for now. It's better then a lot of other alternatives.I'm also married to a wonderful woman named Marsha. She makes me happy. She also makes me proud. We just moved from Michigan to Henderson, Nevada. It's just outside Las Vegas. Marsha is going to be teaching art for grades k -5 and I'll be working at a bookstore and doing my student teaching. It's an adjustment, but it's proven to be alright thus far. I'll keep you posted.
I edited my profile with Thomas’ Myspace Editor V3.6 !

Well, the mad Christmas rush is here, I'd better not get sunburned!

Does that statement make any sense to you? I doubt it. Perhaps I've just been in one place far too long to really change right away, but nothing about wearing short sleeves on December 10th is okay. I...
