As most of you know, I have rencently started a Candle Business, called www.CandleLitLane.com. We specialize in Gourmet Candles, Soaps, Body Wash, and a plethora of everyday useful items.
Being in Business, I figured that I should give back to the world that gives me so much, so for every sale that is made through this business, I pledge to give back 1/3 of the profits made. I feel that this is my human duty to the world around me.
Two years ago I took the journey to the Townships of South Africa with Mission: Possible International and during that trip it really changes your outlook on life. It makes you think about the abundencies that you have, and you realize, through meeting with these people, that they have an abundance that a lot of people do not have:
JOY!
As we moved from Township to Township empowering these lives, I realized that you can have nothing, you can be scraping by just to put food on the table, but it does not matter as long as you bring joy to someone's life. This is what I feel that Mission Possible International does from my own personal experience.
