Jeron Jonathan Alexander James-Serrano is also known as "J-Pone" by the guys and "P.O.N.Y." by the girls. He was born on October 13, 1988 in Brooklyn, New York. J-Pone is a true island boy being born of Bajan (Barbados) and Boricua (Puerto Rican) decent. He now resides in Charlotte County, Florida (Deep Creek is his spot.) He has two sisters Jovoni and Jenelle Serrano. His father is Luis Serrano and his mother is Darlene James-Serrano. He's been singing since the age of 10 rapping since the age of 8 but has been entertaining into everyone's hearts since the age of 4. He started tap dancing at the age of 4 until the age of 12. He went to many competitions and won many awards. He was born an athlete and an entertainer. His first sport of interest was soccer but his love is for football and track. He was a Little Scholar and an All-American (1st Team-Offense and 2nd Team-Defense) during his Pop Warner days. He was All-Area and All-County in high school for football and All-Area, All-County, and All-Region for track. He was even nominated for his county's Athlete of the Year. He went on a scholarship to play football and track at Bethel College in North Newton, Kansas. He won the KCAC with his team and they received a ring. During his time at Bethel he hooked up with Lyrical Miracle and recorded his 1st song "Stuntin in my Bathin Apes." Greatness was soon to follow after that song. "Playa of Yo Dreams" was his 1st hit with Lyrical Miracle and Mel. It was praised all over Kansas and many other states including New York and Florida. Also while at Bethel he hooked up with Michael Shelkey and Drake Engelman to form the Haury Hall Boiz. They made many music videos that can be watched on either Myspace or Youtube. When P.O.N.Y. returned to Florida he told everyone that he returned for good and hooked up wit his new music family, The UnioN. J-Pone's 1st song with The UnioN was "Fame n Fortune" with T.K.R. It was getting praised around the state of Florida and was his county's hottest new song. "Fame n Fortune" has been played in Texas, Ohio, California, Canada and New York. "Shawty Be Mine" will be J-Pone's 1st solo track. "Shawty Be Mine" is also J-Pone's most anticipated track yet. "Shawty Be Mine" will bring out J-Pone's lyrical, singing, and rapping abilities. "Squab it Out" featring Rickfiyah and Jayricks and "SupaModel" featuring JayRicks and K-Rod are J-Pone's newest tracks to date. "Squab it Out" is The UnioN's 1st single. J-Pone is back and getting ready for big things in 2008 with his squad, The UnioN.J-Pone's music accomplishments- "Fame n Fortune": played in Texan and also Canadian clubs. One of the most requested Canadian club tracks. It has peaked at 1 on many Canadian radio stations.
