Conciertos America Entertainment is owned by Rafael Salazar, a veteran in the concert promotion industry. Formerly with Hauser Entertainment, Rafael had the great and distinct opportunity of working with Ralph Hauser Jr, who was the most successful, powerful and respected Latin concert promoters in the United States. Many of Hauser's peers have attempted to replace him, but none have come close. After Ralph Jrs passing, Mrs. Hauser made Rafael a limited partner of Universal Citywalk's infamous nightclub the "Rumba Room" and General Manager (until June 2006), at the Rumba Room, Rafael, along with Machete Records, introduced the West Coast to Reggaeton, by presenting almost all top Reggaeton artist from Don Omar to Voltio. The LA Times, NY Times and Miami Herald recognized the Rumba Room as the premier West Coast Venue for Reggaeton.Rafael has produced shows in the US, South and Central America, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Santo Domingo.
He has produced shows featuring such artists as: Vicente Fernandez, Alejandro Fernandez, Ana Gabriel, Juan Gabriel, Joan Sabastian, Paulina Rubio, Chayanne, Rocio Durcal, Pepe Aguilar, Pablo Montero, Moenia, Sin Bandera, Gustavo Cerati, Ashanti, Eve, Marcus Houston, B2K, Kilo, Nina Sky, Pitbull, Xtreme, Xzibit, DJ High Times, Anita Ward, Zap, Peaches & Herb, and many more.
Rafael’s concert promotions have allowed him to forge solid relationships within all aspects of the entertainment industry. His invaluable relationships include Machete Records, Univision, Universal, ASCAP, Fonovisa, Sony/BMG, Warner Music, Warner Music Latino and Disa Records. He has has worked with many television networks such as Azteca America, Televisa, Telemundo and Univision. His radio industry associations have included SBS, EMMIS Broadcasting, Clear Channel, Gold Coast Broadcasting,Univision, Lieberman Broadcasting and RadioLazer Broadcasting Corporation.
