Time is like water to me. I'm not a good soccer mom (usually late to events) and don't like volunteering for things as I'm not good at managing my own schedule let alone someone else's. But I pride myself of always being there for my 2 sweethearts. Time with them has made me realize how much they are teaching to love unconditionally and that even though there is pressure for me to be a "working mom" I do not want to give them anything less than my full attention and support in return. I hope that when I return to being part of today's workforce, they will feel my continued presence in their world because the feeling of security and belonging is hard to conjure up out of thin air later as grown ups. I can say that from experience, that which is lacking within myself now makes it hard for me to feel strong at times. So, if there is any good I have brought to their world I hope it is consistency and availability at any moment of their young lives.
