Irie Way Records is based out of Vancouver, British Columbia/Chicago, Illinois and was founded by Scottfro and Zebo. The idea for the label was born from a desire for more upbeat, positive ragga tunes in the growing jungle scene. Don't be too quick to let that mislead you on the flavor of our sound. Irie Way releases still bring the ruffness with mashed up amens and rubbling basslines, complemented by uplifting riddims and vocals describing life without babylon holding us down.
