Sorry, but if you don't like junk food, we can't be friends...

About Me

Hello! My name is Casey. I have a husband Neil who I LOVE mucho mucho muchisimo. And I have a baby boy named Bennett Clark. He is basically the cutest thing I think I've ever set eyes on. I'm sure if you have a child you think the same about yours... and you should. So forgive me for saying, my baby is the most precious, delicious little bundle of cuteness the world has ever seen!!!
I am a Christian, actress, writer, crocheter, card-maker, baker, nerd, hugger, kisser, friend, pastor's wife, momma, sister, aunt, daughter, sunday school teacher, acting teacher, silly goose extraordinaire (in no particular order, though, Christian and wife are top on the list). And now, as if you really need or care to know all this, here are some of my likes and dislikes:
Things I love:
tropical dots, starbucks, cheez-its, flamin hot cheetos, chinese food, (how sad that the first five items are food related...) MY SISTER, Venice, Rome, Aunthood, making cards, getting real mail, diet coke, Bernadette Peters, Mary Bennett, Broadway musicals (especially Thoroughly Modern Millie), vintage things, the color yellow and the song Yellow, having a husband who is my best friend, naps in the middle of the day, sleeping any other time of day, Homestar Runner, dogs, fall, Christmas, Halloween, Thanksgiving, pajamas, cookbooks, Target, nicknames for everyone, care-packages, the smells of cinnamon, coconut, vanilla and dryer sheets (individually), bargain shopping, expensive splurge shopping, Dora the Explorer, laughter, tea parties, sweet little old men, accessories, Disneyland, Biffas, babies, pilates and yoga, Urban Outfitters, Rachel Ray, beauty products, makeup, pasta, making up my own words...
Things I don't like very much:
people without a sense of humor(aka fun-suckers,) people that are flakey-Jakes, unloading the dishwasher, cats, empty tape dispensers and/or staplers, bad attitudes, New Years Eve (it always sounds fun but then ends up BORING!!!), being bored :0), people who sell Amway or some other form of multi-level marketing and try to sign me up (this includes Cutco!!!), veggies, seafood, country music and the country western culture, sarcasm, food noises, sports of any kind in any form at any time, running, confrontation, confrontation while running (sorry, Stev, but it IS funny!), bad manners, people who don't send thank you notes (which goes along with bad manners).

My Interests

I have come to the realization that I never grew up. I am still a kid. I still like kid food (hot dogs, chicken fingers, peanut butter and jelly) more than adult food; I watch the same movies over and over and over the way kids do, and I think I like playing with Bennett's toys more than he does.
You Belong in 1957
You're fun loving, romantic, and more than a little innocent. See you at the drive in! What Year Do You Belong In?

I'd like to meet:

Reese Witherspoon, John C. Reilly, Mark Ruffalo, the late Tony Almeda from 24 (may he rest in peace)

Music:

I love everything EXCEPT Rap and Country, both of which, I LOATHE!!! Favorites include, ANYTHING 80's, No Doubt, Coldplay, Weezer, Billy Joel, Elton John, U2, The Cure, The Shins, That Dog, Ben Folds, Keane, Damian Rice, Norah Jones, Frank Sinatra, Renee Olstead, Michael Buble, Judy Garland and Harry Connick Jr.

Movies:

It's a Wonderful Life, Alfred Hitchcock Films (especially North by Northwest and Vertigo), Legally Blonde, Troop Beverly Hills, The Wizard of Oz, Steel Magnolias, Napoleon Dynamite, Pretty in Pink, The Breakfast Club, How to Marry a Millionaire, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Big Business, Waiting For Guffman and Best in Show, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Little Women, Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea (I know it's cheezy, but I can't help myself!!!) Books:

Neil told me I need to update this section because it was like 3 bazillion years ago that we went to the Steinbeck Museum (it did rock, though). I just finished reading "The Last Summer of You and Me" by Ann Bradshares... Great book. I read a lot, mostly fiction and some non-fiction. Favorite all-time books include: The Interpreter of Maladies, Great Gatsby, Of Mice and Men, Uncle Tom's Children and A Wrinkle in Time. Anyone have any good suggestions?

Heroes:

Jesus Christ, Mother Theresa, and my husband Neil
