About Me
One day, years ago, when the Thin White Duke ruled album oriented radio, a few Dickinson High School students listened to The White Album in a '67 Mustang. The music came through a powerful 12 watt under the dash, (actually an "on the floor") 8 track stereo with the optional comb under tape. A seed was planted that day (not a seed from the plastic bag in the glove box, but a musical seed) and it has been growing for close to 30 years. That seed marked the seminal period (ok, both seminal and period, stop snickering) of The Agents Band.
The two founding members, Frank (aka Foofie Quaff) on guitar and Al (aka Soupy) on bass have played together, in various bands, since that day. They are joined by another Frank (aka David Que Se Dice) on guitar, Sergio (aka The Technician) on drums, Dan (aka Conan) on keys and most recently Linda (aka '99') on vocals. Together, they create the classic sound of a six piece band, including three/four/five part harmonies.
Their mix of of classic rock, pop, dance, new wave and recent songs makes them a great party band. The songs are familiar and with a few notable exceptions, not cliche.
Their playlist includes: America, The Beatles, The Hollies, The Guess Who, The Stones, The Knack, Squeeze, The Animals, Joe Jackson, Spencer Davis Group, Wild Cherry, Rick James, Cornelius Brothers and Sister Rose, Tom Jones, Tavares, Wild Cherry, Pat Benetar, Heart, Joan Jett, Green Day, Jet, The Killers and Jimmy Eat World among others.
The band would love for you to pile into that long gone Mustang with them and enjoy the tunes.
Oh, but bring your own 8 tracks, Foof only has one that works.
