Other Pursuits of the Studio
I've always been a gamer; I was raised on the Atari and I'm still going--I got my Wii a week after launch. But it's the classic stuff that gets me going. Simple is sometimes better, in my book, and nothing captured my imagination better than playing that Atari. There are other facets to my life, and gaming doesn't get as much of my time anymore...but painting the scenes and enjoying them in my home brings the feelings back. The feelings of being a young girl, playing Yar's Revenge, being a little scared of Haunted House, watching my cousins play The Legend of Zelda for the first time...those are the feelings I'm painting.
Plus, it looks cool!
