FRANCISCO ARLINDO ALVES
"I watched your video for "Screentest." I think it's incredible. It has the intensity of a silent movie with the sensual tension of a Man Ray or Joel Peter Witkin photo(without the bizarre subjects). I loved it. All the best, Boston " - @ - Bosston Communications

Synopsis of Book

Cause and Effect by Iris Lord

Rage permeates the planet
We are all witness to the effect
What of the cause?

The cry of the women, ?Why have the men betrayed their sons &
daughters??
Mass murder is all we see, all we hear
New weapons, new plots of extinction
Men, their greatness submerged as they turn into killers
For what? A piece of land, a superior position from which to rule
Men killing each other brutally, without conscience, remorse or guilt
Blaming others
A daily picture of inhumanity without looking at the totality of why!
Has the ego of the man been so subverted from the strange father to the decadent sub-human?
Are we all collaborating by letting it happen?
Change must occur quickly

Greed rules the human
The cause, the cause, the armored rigid cultures screaming for
importance, to win, to be the victor over the other
War becomes the legal way men kill each other

War is the ultimate betrayal.
Son to son.
Father to son.
Mother to son.

You are going to kill, which is what you love to do.
There is no hope, except to go to violent extremes.
The boundaries of humanity are gone.
The lower power has won.
Evil wins.
We are living in a world of nothing, of hell.
Of the hate that war is.
One man says, ?I hate you all, I want you gone.?
Another reacts in spite, ?I?ll get killed to make you change.?
?I won?t change. It?s all a lie.?
In films, the first rule is ?There must be jeopardy.?
How do we have excitement without violence?
We need excitement.

The men go from boyhood to slave workers.
They need more time, or more information about life.
More education about love, politics, potential.
Without it, men stop growing.
Rigidity sets in early.

Men need conflict.
Women wait for a savior.
All we see or hear is the sight of the death of men.
With all the brilliance of men, no one in this country, not one, is dealing with the cause.
The worldwide toxicity has pervaded the worldview.
Pervaded what we eat from the moment of birth.
Drug companies, food companies, makers of weapons, makers of
computer games, they sell us violence from the beginning, so we feel hopeless.
Who knows how to change the impulse to kill?

The men need to be understood.
They cry out for something, no matter what their material gain.
Still crying, raging how have we cheated them.
So they have no other choice: kill or be killed.

The cause of rage is the denial of the dream.
The promise of life denied, we realized we?ve all been duped.
So: now to find out how and why, and change conditions.
Do what?s necessary to explore what can replace/sublimate the deep sadness of just being another ordinary schmo in the world, a schnook. Explore what can replace the mindset that says, ?Fuck it, I?ll do anything to get attention. I?ll kill the president, maybe that?ll get attention.?

We wise women, we give them what they want, whatever they want.
More women? Okay, okay, every day, why not?
Women give in to men.
Stop running for every new everything,
to satisfy all your narcissistic needs
Food? Eat. Alcohol? Why not?
Anything to appease them, till they have had enough
Tits, ass, money
What about power? Can we satisfy that need?

Women are just as manic as the men.
But instead of weapons, they collect, spend and outdo each other in such clich?s.
Hairpiece, lashes, plastic surgery, all extreme, all flash.
The effect is gross.
Men - wars, gross.
Women - narcissism.
Both in denial.
No matter how powerful the men get, the women gross out in other ways. Such as consumerism.
?I see it, I like it, I grab it. Grab it all.?

The ability to go on with hope for love.
For the men, what is the cause?
The cause of killing?
The killing is the cause and the affect.
What is the cause to kill?
A world show, a drama of idiocy, hypocrisy, where the viewer is pleased to kill.
All of the leaders all over lie cheat steal kill.
The world is a killing planet.
?What about our arsenal of nukes??
We have enough to blow up the planet.
The planet earth is going to blow itself up, and Congress speaks in platitudes.
Lies, all lies.
Bold they go, vision gone, sterile, fat, power driven men.
A minority congress is made up of the depraved.
Their self-interest is monumental.
The rich and privileged, they have to maintain their millionaire life style. There is no sound of truth, of what?s really wrong.
Were you once actual beautiful babies, being held, fed, cleaned, safe? Did you eat and laugh and love?
Happy baby, where have you gone and why, why, where did my baby go? Are you all emulating Hitler?
With your close allies?
Doing the work, conspirators in World Drama.
Who has the power?
The struggle is the same, but the psychopath wins.

The poser is controlled by the hypocrites.
Humans coming in to this planet are conditioned to feel, to be in truth. All is a lie.
Churches, religions, power mad men.
Take away the guns; we will give you all the stuff, the tech stuff, cars, homes, food.
China can make all the tech stuff, but not all their clothes.
Bring back the American designers.
Make non-toxic clothes.
All the men in the USA, drop your fears and you can all have the
American Dream: a house, a car, a plane, three kids, friends, great mistress, great girlfriend, and do whatever you want.
Sing, dance, act, teach, fly, build cities and hospitals that heal, clean the water, clean the air.
What about Africa? What happened?
Africa. Let?s all heal Africa. Wipe out Malaria, AIDS.
Clean the country, build homes, make the continent of Africa into the dream.
Note to black people: ?Take over.? Reclaim your Africa.
Lay down your guns and it?s done.
No more crying.
The cost of all the military around the planet is enough money to clean the planet, and give each human a real chance at heaven on Earth.A healthy human move in the midst of mass murder; a plea for love to come again, to ease the pain of life.
To end the need for war.
Not for oil, money, power, religion, or which God is the real God.

The women are all off balance.
The reason for the real insanity in women:
Without Father, girls go crazy.
Obsessed, lost, searching for Daddy.
Legions of insane girls.
When the women are crazed, the culture collapses.
From shrouded in black death-wraps to Blondes fixed to perfection by plastic surgeons, they?re all hiding their inability to feel good.
No amount of clothes, perfect bodies, perfect faces, perfect hair . . . nothing works.
Underneath, they still long for Daddy.
Does a baby deserve a Mom and Dad?
Every baby girl needs a father.
When the father is absent, the girl grows crooked.

The human that is degraded and beaten is caught, trapped, has no
vision; does not see or hear.
The ego self has been destroyed.
The way out is to copy others, to act.

How are we collectively going to stop war?
The killing must stop.
If you are struggling to maintain the vision of imaginary worlds with no killing, then give up on war.

Where is the balance?
The artists, Artaud, Brecht, they asked these questions.
Why does man love to kill? Is it all competition?

A think tank of wise women.
They will dedicate themselves to healing men.
?What do they want?? they wonder.
?What?s missing? What dream has gone asunder that drives men to murder other men??
The Think Tank needs to define the cause, to change the effect of mass, worldwide genocide.
Women are raising children alone; without fathers, without the stabilizing element for the family, without the strength and wisdom of men.

Our purpose is to reaffirm heaven on Earth.
Paradise for all.
Fix and clean the country.
Clean the ghettos.
Build modern housing.
Give everything to everyone.
If wars are stopped, the money saved would allow all to have all.
Art, music, all God?s children creating instead of killing.
Using that energy to clean and rebuild each city and country.
All countries have a voice to make their people happy.

During our time planet Earth, we each have a body.
Our skeletons are the same.
Heaven is right here where we stand.
Let?s feel alive, grateful for our bodies, our minds.
Let?s go back to helping.
No more sloth.
We can clean the planet.
No more envy, we can all have enough.
Lust replaced by love.
Our purpose is to heal all people.

We are desperate for a new way of life. Children, the heart, the soul, given a chance to live again.
Let?s clean up the place.
Let?s build, design, clean, heal each other.
Let?s shine it, paint it, sculpt it,
make a new picture of beauty, health, and love in this country.
Let?s show each other how happy heaven on earth can be.

Still looking for the antidote to killing, the antidote to Death Planet?
War can never be explained because it?s a paradox.
The thing that makes men love to kill is the very same thing that insures the survival of the human race: testosterone.

Albert Einstein said, ?You can never solve a problem from the same level of thinking that created it.? You need to rise above the problem in order to gain a clear perspective.

So. Do we have any choice but to live through war after war after war? We always have a choice. We can choose not to participate. We can
choose not to kill. And perhaps work to convince others to make the
same choice.

--Iris Lord, July 19, 2008

As man faces the truth and begins to appreciated that all humanity, nay all creation, is one, the problem of wars will commence to disappear. Wars must be so clearly seen by all to be both unnecessary and unreasonable that the immediate problem will not be to stop wars, but to wage them spiritually against the attitude of mind which generated them.
