About Me

| View Show | Create Your OwnWell... I'm in my last required year of college. Everything after this year is extra. I would love to make college my full-time job, but unfortunately it does not pay well (in my case it doesn't pay at all). I love learning new things. And I actually like going to school, which is part of the reason I guess I am going to be a teacher. I am student teaching in second grade. It's wonderful being around seven and eight year olds all day (except for the tattling). I love it! If I am not swamped with school or work, I like to spend time with my family and friends. Aside from that, I like art and I love to make things. Photography, jewelry, painting, and revamping old items...Anything that is crafty. I guess I'm a southern girl for the most part. Even though I was raised as a military brat, I've called Georgia home for most all of my life. This means that my native language is southern. If I missed something, just ask.

Music:

Mostly country, (southern) rock, and instrumental, but I really have an appreciation for almost all music. I like a little bit of most everything!

Movies:

Grease, Dirty Dancing, and Top Gun are my all time favorites. I also like Sweet Home Alabama, The Notebook, Coach Carter, Spanglish, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Pirates of the Caribbean, Take the Lead.

Television:

I absoultely love CSI, Law and Order, and Numbers.

Books:

Anything by Karen Kingsbury, The Night she Died, Jennifer Patrick; Night, Elie Wisel; and all children's books (since I'm an early ed major) Lately, my favorite books seem to be textbooks since I don't really have a choice in reading material (one of the many perks of college).

Heroes:

I'm lucky to have two awesome parents... They're great! Dr. Russell, a very wise man.
