I love reading interviews with the ardent and visionary. Sometimes I read the business section of IHT and NYT. I drink champaign. I have an iced white chocolate americano almost daily. I stay up really late. I wash my hands obsessively. I like animals. I have been told that I have a knack for tangents. I make music sometimes with my laptop, its drone-ish and soothing like well designed furniture. If you would like to hear it sometime, ask. I'd like to meet:

"The woman's fall was an homage to the Empire State Building, grisly performance art for the symbol of the modern metropolis..."Not to mention how luxurious it was that she managed to land on the roof of a limousine, so cool and collected, casually clutching her pearls. A woman that can pull this off, this is who I would like to meet.

Music:

I really don't even like music anymore. No, wait. I like the microphones.

Movies:

I appreciate intricate story lines that overlap and intertwine. Films that are existential, inconclusive, problematic and situationally realistic. I enjoy humor that is wry, sardonic and pitch black. My favorite films are Magnolia, Happiness, Palindromes, The Squid and the Whale, Thumbsucker, Annie Hall, Manhattan, Broken Flowers, Dancer In The Dark, Day For Night, Rushmore, The Royal Tennenbaums, The Life Aquatic, The Darjeeling Limited (I know it's not out yet but i have no doubt that it's going to be one of my favorites.) My favorite actors are Phillip Seymore Hoffman, Bill Murray, Woody Allen & Diane Keaton in Annie Hall and Manhattan, Tilda Swinton, Chloe Sevigny, Angelica Houston. Wes Anderson, Paul Thomas Anderson, Goddard, John Waters I almost forgot to mention how much I love Christopher Guest films. Especially Waiting For Guffman, Best In Show and For Your Consideration which I think might be his best. Most of the time I like David Lynch, but sometimes I just can't. I feel the same way about Matthew Barney. Not the movie Borat.

Television:

Arrested Development. The Office. Freaks and Geeks. Mr. Show. Flavor of Love. Curb Your Enthusiasm, Big Love, Americas Next Top Model, Project Runway and sometimes The Hills.

Books:

I just finished 'the unbearable lightness of being' by Milan Kundera and I loved it. I wish I read more fiction. A friend recently recommended No One Belongs Here More Than You: Stories by Miranda July. I guess its new. I read mostly Magazines Self-Service. ANP Quarterly. Tokion. The Jrnl. Fantastic Man. Modern Painters. V. Not Art Forum. (okay, sometimes art forum) That would be a really great name for a magazine. 'not art forum' Who wants to start it with me?

Heroes:

My Mom. My Dad. Andy Warhol. Richard Prince. Prince. Sol Lewitt. Bruce Nauman. Ed Ruscha. Woody Allen. Max Fisher. Morrisey.
