8.28.07::: As of this past weekend, 1994 is no longer with HERO Entertainment. HERO parted ways with 1994 due to a conflict of interest that remains disclosed. There is nothing but love between the two groups, and we wish them the best in their journey through this industry. On another note, we have pushed back our initial date for our Battle of the Bands. The date has not yet been decided on, but it will be sometime in November. With that said, we are still in search of a few more bands. Our only demand is that you must be able to sell 50 tickets. 7.30.07::: Yesterday finalized HERO's first three bands. Irreversible and The Murdered have officially signed with HERO, along with 1994 a few weeks back. Everyone has been asking for release dates from all three bands, and here is what we can say so far. Irreversible is on track to release their first full length 'Sins' as planned, on October 19th. 1994 will be hitting the studio in the fall to turn their EP 'Good morning, my friends' into a full length in the fall, making for a winter release. The Murdered has begun the writing process for their first full length, to be released late winter. You can expect to see all of these bands on tour immediately following these releases, so stay posted!!
6.20.07::: HERO has announced their first of five 'End of the world' parties. This years will be on 07/07/07 at Nickel and Dime in Decatur, leading up to our final party on 12/12/12. This year we will be previewing the latest releases from Atlanta's 1994 and Irreversible, to be followed by a very unique performance by both artists. We are also excited to announce our raffle for Russ Abbott's new shop 'Ink and Dagger Tattoo'. It will be $10 a ticket for the chance to win $500 worth of free tattooing! HERO Records is scouting the Atlanta area for 3-5 perfect bands, with no genre bias. Once these bands have been decided on; contracts will be signed, bonuses will be granted, and it’s a beautiful road from there. We will begin pushing these bands immediately via radio, myspace, street team, word of mouth, and simply putting their name and faces everywhere applicable.

Although not a main entity of HERO, events and parties are going to play a big role in our campaign. The very first event we will hold is a Battle of the Bands, which will be our grand opening.
