My name is Menchi Campbell, and I am waited on by Keira Campbell and her family. I am a toroiseshell kitty, living in the Riff, hunting mice, birds and lizards and laying them out splendidly for the people who worship me so that they may bask in the glory of my skills. They don't seem too pleased when I do catch things... Unworthy of my affection...
So I generally spend my days following the places that I can lay in the sun, then yell at my worshippers until they understand I want to be fed... I should fire them, but they do know that really good spot under my chin that sends me into a purring frenzy... so I will tolerate them... for now.
I've been told that my names comes from an Anime called Excel Saga, where the main character has a pet dog called Menchi (which means Mince Meat in Japanese), and she keeps the dog as an emergency food supply... Well, Keira will have to try and catch me first!
