The name is Self-proclaimed, but many have labeled this young woman "tha' BOMB". This Texas born Breezy was literally raised in two separate homes - so moving here & there became the norm for Kellyente. She'll forever represent the Mississippi Delta and The Bay area because of it! "I appreciate my parents for giving me the freedom of choice to be with who I wanted to be with (Mom or Dad), when I wanted to. Although it f*d me up in school, it's given me a broader perspective on Life and a greater appreciation for different people & cultures." Never narrow-minded or bias, Kellyente' is extremely well-rounded - remaining deeply rooted in her "Dirty South" ways and "Hyphee" BAY Area-Westcoast swagger.
The BOMBBreezy began her creative ventures at an early age through art. Sketching, writing or any form of expressing her feelings on paper became a natural talent. She opened a new door in her artisitc realm when she established - "My Perspective™" in Atlanta, GA back in 2001. It expressed her style in a larger form and new medium. Her exclusive personalized works of art are just that.
But, long before the Breezy unveiled her gifts, she'd been a 'writer' first and foremost. From detailed real life stories or poems to one-lined quotes or thoughts, her words have become her personal diaries which she often keeps sacred calling each of her many notebooks her 'Bibles'. "I used to sit in my room by myself twerkin' this little Karaoke machine with the double cassette player/recorder and recorded myself rappin'. I never really showed anyone, I kept it really humble." - Kellyente' recalls.
She began participating and sharing her love of Hip Hop - while in the Bay area, when she connected with a group of her DJ - "hip-hop head" homies in high school back in '94-'95. The first opportunity she had to step into the studio would forever change the direction she'd move toward her creative aspirations. "I'd never consider myself a battle rapper, or a gangsta rapper although I'm definite I can come wit it if necessary, just like in real life. I am a writer. I just keep it real in everything I say and do. I speak on my experiences. You'll never find me sayin some shit I don't know about."
