SLEEPY HOUSE

Sleepy house is an experimental rock band in Omaha Nebraska. Tom Barrett & Rene Gosch have written, performed and recorded music together for over a decade now. After settling down from the Northwest Tom & Rene have again put a new music project together called “SLEEPY HOUSE”. This is the part where we are supposed to brag about out band. Here you go!! We have a lot of cool synthesized, dirty, toned songs that tend to be on the darker side of life. Being heavily influenced by Pink Floyd, Portishead, PJ Harvey, Nick Cave, Sigur Ros and The Cure, you can tell how we developed our sound over the years.Adding Chris Smith, Chad Lewis and Christian Lezowitz into the mix beefed up the rhythm section and added more atmospheric landscape’s to each song. Orenda Fink (singer songwriter) and Christina Allred (cello) have joined in with performing and recording with Sleepy House and we look forward to working with them again. All I can say is if you like tripped out sounds and some good old dirty rock with an amazing female vocalist (not a mousy singer) then check us out..
