I am here for Dating, Serious Relationships, Friends and Networking

About Me

I am a Chicago native (the city, not the suburbs) currently living in Houston. I love photography, web design, and astrology (really!). I also enjoy software development on the side so I'm a true geek. I am single and looking for guys who are smart, cute and enjoyable to talk with. If they have long hair or are blond Scorpios, blond Cancers, blond Taureans, or Aquarians, then bonus points.I'm pretty good at telling jokes, talking about TV and movies, and may just challenge your vocabulary if you hang around me long enough. I love affection - giving it as well as receiving it. I have a very strong feminine side, making me a good listener and a gentle supporter. I have a positive frame of mind most of the time, although it's occasionally sprinkled with a touch of cynicism, just to keep my feet on the ground.

My Interests

Photography, web design, astrology, software development/programming, game shows, gay-themed movies, theatre, wit. That's the short list. I read a lot of so I enjoy discussing lots of stuff.

I'd like to meet:

Rufus Wainwright, Brad Rowe, Travis Fimmel (former Australian, blond uber-model for Calvin Klein), Aaron Peirsol (olympic swimmer), Pieter van den Hoogenband (olympic swimmer), Andy Roddick, Randy Harrison (Justin from Showtime's "Queer As Folk"), Ashley Angel (singer, O-Town) and many male fashion models; those guys are HOT.

Music:

Jazz (both classic and smooth), classical, modern rock, classic rock (if not overplayed), new age, some showtunes/soundtracks.

Movies:

Some of my all-time favorites: "Moonstruck" (hysterical movie about a dowdy Italian woman struggling with falling in love), "Broadcast News" (about the TV news industry), and any of the three "Austin Powers" movies - Mike Myers is a scream!

Television:

Let's talk channels, the channels my TV is most on, in no particular order: GSN (game shows), E! (entertainment gossip), MTV (for pushing the envelope and giving us so many attractive people to watch), Nick at Nite (for classic TV sitcoms with superior writing), ESPN (because I love the way those guys do sports - no one is better), Showtime (for "Queer As Folk"), and (don't laugh) The Weather Channel (if a tornado's coming through my living room, I'm gonna see it in living color before it happens, LOL!).

Books:

Almost anything by Judith Martin (Miss Manners), because she's an incredible wit. I'm also a big reader of self-help books because I find them uplifiting, and a great counterbalance to the news, which is negative (and often untruthful).
