Rude

At the end of the year 2005, during the coldest winter and the darkest hours, four punks around the eastern suburbs of Vantaa, suffered from the lack off action in their lives. Something had to be done. The idea of the band was found after some beers and a lousy cover-gig at pool hall Christmas party. Longtime friends, and bandmates Ville and Ide performed in a coverband with Jori behind the drums. The gig took place at the pool hall where Ville and Jori used to work.
Despite the bad performance and the terrible hangover the next day, the trio decided to keep on playing together and to make songs of their own. The first rehearsal place was found million miles away, in Konala. With Jori on the drums, Ide playing bass and Ville on vocals, the band needed a guitar player. Jori..s friend Härski was called to the rescue, and the line-up was all set. So started the journey of RUDE.
With lots of rehearsing, beer and whiskey, the band hit it off with hard rocking songs with ”fuck you”-attitude. Under crappy circumstances and in a room way too small, guys were able to put together several songs, and they started to found sound of their own. When the band managed to get a better place to rehears, the number of songs and attitude started to grow fast. First gigs where played in summer 2006, in Helsinki area.
After few loud gigs, it was time to go to studio. In December 2006, the first demo Heads Up, was recorded in Sputnik Studios in the hearth of Korso. And now the band is heading for new stages and bigger audiences. See you in front row…
